Friday (2 March 2018) marked the start of the Great British Spring Clean, a national campaign with a simple aim: to bring people across the country together to clear up the litter that blights our towns, villages, countryside and beaches.

Normally carried out over the course of three days, due to this year’s cold weather, the spring clean has been extended up until 25 March. During this time, the aim is to inspire 400,000 people to get outdoors, get active and help clear up the rubbish that lies around us.

You too can join the growing army of #LitterHeroes who have had enough of other people’s litter and are willing to do something about it.

If you’re not able to and you feel that where you live could benefit from a clear up, we can help!

Keep a look out in our April Newsletter and our Facebook events for your local clean up summer session.

You can also email us at involvement@starhousing.org.uk and we’ll arrange to come and help you clean up your street as part of our summer events.
