Mr and Mrs Jones from Bridgnorth have decided through personal experience that it is time to stand up to cancer and ‘Brave the Shave’ for Macmillan Cancer Research.
Mick and Linda who live in a STAR Housing property in Ash Road, Bridgnorth have arranged to go under the razor on Wednesday 9th October at 11:00 in STAR’s Beech Road Community Room and shave off their hair and in Micks case his beard also. Mick who is recognisable around Bridgnorth by his famous long beard has decided that this cause his worthy of him losing his famous trademark.
When Linda was asked about the reason why her and her husband decided to brave the shave, she answered in a way that far too many of us would by saying ‘a few of my family members have been touched by cancer over the years and we would like to raise as much money as possible’
I think we have all known or know of someone has suffered from cancer and this is an opportunity for members of the community to support cancer research and donate to Linda and Mick ‘Braving the Shave’
