This Christmas, STAR Housing has actively lent a hand to those in need within our community. As part of our commitment to supporting our communities, we've made numerous contributions to various organisations. We have made significant donations to the Bridgnorth and Oswestry and Borders food banks. Board members Vince Hunt and Julia Buckley visited both foodbanks this week to see the impact of the donations and to show their support for the hardworking teams at the foodbanks.
STAR Housing is proud to have contributed to 'Together at Christmas' in Bridgnorth. This event strives to combat loneliness during Christmas by offering a free festive meal to anyone who faces spending Christmas day alone this year. No one should spend this special season alone, hence, our donation will contribute towards creating a warm, community spirit and fostering new friendships.
Another local event that STAR Housing has supported is OsNosh Oswestry's Baps and Crafts event. This fun free event aimed to get everyone in the Christmas spirit with yummy food and activities for the whole family. Some staff from STAR also attended the event, and it was great to see everyone enjoying the activities and food.
