Our Heating, Servicing and Repairs Contractor have again this year been providing customers in need with ‘Winter Warmer Packs’ over the festive break.
Liberty Group put together non-perishable foods, gloves, hats and temporary heating where necessary. These ‘Warmer Packs’ are gifted to customers by the engineers themselves when they feel they are vulnerable or may need the assistance. This means that if our customers had an emergency gas problem they could be given food and warmth until after the festive period.
Lee Smith Assistant Director at Liberty Group had this to say “As part of our Winter Plan Liberty Group working in partnership with STAR Housing have delivered Winter Warmer Packs to any vulnerable customers identified over the festive break, this is part of our continued commitment and support to our customers.”
During the festive period several STAR Housing customers benefited from the ‘Winter Warmer Packs’ in places such as Broseley and Bridgnorth and were said to be ‘over the moon’ with what they received.
