We want to inform customers that Storm Eowyn is expected to bring very strong winds and rain to Shropshire tomorrow (Friday 24th January). The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning, with winds up to 60mph expected.
During this period of severe weather, we want to ensure the safety and well-being of all our customers. If you have any concerns or need assistance, please do not hesitate to call us at 0333 32 12 200. Our team will be here, ready to take your calls for any issues caused by the storm. If anything continues into the weekend, our normal out-of-hours service will also be available.
In the event of a power loss due to issues with the national grid, please remember to contact your electricity supplier directly. It's important to stay informed and prepared during this time. Make sure to secure any loose items around your property, such as trampolines and garden furniture, to prevent them from being caught by the wind. We also advise avoiding unnecessary travel.
We kindly ask that during Friday you only call us for emergency or urgent repairs. For non-urgent repairs, please use the repairs form on our website (Click here for the form) . We are expecting a high number of calls and will be prioritising emergencies. Due to this, we may need to cancel some planned repairs to cover emergencies. We will notify any customers if their planned repairs need to be rescheduled.
