SCAM CALL WARNING – PLEASE BE VIGILANT

We’ve been made aware of a suspicious phone call received by one of our customers. The caller claimed to be from a “housing team” regarding upcoming repairs, but did not identify which organisation they were from and hung up when questioned.

This appears to be a scam, and we are urging all residents to take extra caution.

What you need to know:

• Star Housing will always clearly identify themselves and refer to specific details about your tenancy.
• If you receive a call about repairs you haven’t reported, do not share any personal information.
• If in doubt, hang up and contact us directly.
